Ann Manganiello

 

     Ann Manganiello of Exeter, PA received her BM and MA music degrees from Marywood University. She teaches music at Holy Redemer High School, Wilkes Barre and is the Director of Choral Activities there where she has previously served as Music Dept Chair. Ann is the Music/Choir Director and organist at St. Cecilia's/St. John the Baptist Parish Community in Exeter. A member of the Pennslyvania Music Educators Association she serves as the music districts Chairman of the Curriculum Instruction Committee, Fest Coordinator and Annual Diner Coordinator. Ann has earned the PMEA District 9 Distinguished Service Award.

     Ms. Manganiello presently serves the diocese as the Director of Music for the Diocesan Inservice Liturgy and Catechetical Liturgy. She has directed the music for the Diocesan Annual Pilgrimage at the National Shrine in Washington D.C.; a 250 voice Student Choir for the Luzerne County Deanery Mass held at King's College in honor of the diocesan 125th Anniversary Liturgy held at Montage Stadium. A member of the American Choral Directors Association, Ms. Manfaniello has conducted the junior High Chorus at the Luzerne County Chorus Festival and also Marywood University's Summer Music Camp. Ann has accompanied at the PMEA Song Fest and frequently performs as an accompanist/pianist throughout the District and Scranton Diocese. She is a member of National Pastoral Musicians, the American College of Musici ans/National Piano Guild and instrucst students privately on piano, organ and voice. She is also a member of the Gene Dempsey Orchesetra vocal group, Two plus Two.
